Using hot water will start to de-saturate or pull the wax away from the cotton, meaning it will start to crack and crumble.
One of the biggest factors that will affect the longevity of your wrap is hot water. This involves maneuvering the wrap between your fingers and using the heat of your hands to help it stick to the edge of whatever surface you’re trying to adhere it to. In order to “activate” the wrap and to get it to be at it’s prime “stickiness”, we recommend also using the heat of your hands in order to warm the wax up before you use them.
